La Iguana golf course at Los Sueños Resort, Costa
Rica combines incredible scenery with challenging golf.
It is an 18 hole Par 72 course designed by Ted Robinson,
Jr.
It is not uncommon to see playful monkeys, three-toed sloths,
pizotes, iguanas, brilliant colored toucans and scarlet
macaws along the fairway. In fact, La Iguanas fore caddies
have been specifically trained to point out over 150 species
of wildlife to players as they make their way through the
unique rain forest course.
La Iguana at Los Sueños is administered by the Marriott
Los Sueños Ocean and Golf Resort. The La Iguana clubhouse
is located in a charming spanish colonial style building
at the entrance to the Marriott Hotel.
The full service pro-shop features brand name equipment
and clothing, as well as Taylor Made rental equipment. Here
you can sign up for lessons with PGA-certified instructors
or request the unique V-One digital swing analysis service.
Overlooking the 18th hole, the "Hoyo 19" restaurant
provides full service bar and light lunch menu from 11:00am
to 7:00pm each day.
